Wing Commander Woods, Commanding Officer of MOD St Athan,
visits 293 Cowbridge Squadron

Commander Woods has been visiting Air Cadet Squadrons in the local area
recently. Thursday night he dropped in to see us at Cowbridge and speak
to the cadets about 99 Squadron (His previous squadron before MOD St
Athan). No 99 Squadron operates the Heavylift C 17 Globemaster Aircraft. Click here for 99 Squadron.   |

the cadets had a chance to ask questions about the aircraft and what he
could offer us as Commanding Officer of MOD St Athan. Finally at the end of the evening the Wing Commander presented some cadets with awards. As a momento and a bit of a surprise Flying Officer Dodd presented him with the squadrons Shield. We all thank Wing Commander Woods for finding time in his busy schedule to come and see us and hope he comes back again soon. |
